It was a late night...

my last minute 2 am entry for the

the theme was women in history so I chose
Amelia Earhart...
a bit of steampunk influence...
antique metal and wind.
the rusty wire is from the wall behind my shower
when we tore it out a few months ago
i wish i had saved more of it.

    This is beautiful, Lisa! I love Amelia Earhart. I did an 11 x 14 collage of her a while back & used both images that you've used in yours. I especially love the the lower one. Very nice!

    this is wonderful !! I love the rusted mesh wire as well! Have you ever tried rusting your own??? I have a few tips if you are interested- it does not take long....

    It came out so well..way to recycle the rusty wire...wow 2 AM I could see myself getting into a project like this and just getting lost in time...A fantastic entry.

    What a great choice for the theme and look how wonderful it is too! Really like this one. Love all the rusted bits you've added. Isn't that always the way. You think you've salvaged enough then find later you could have uses for 10 times the amount! LOL!
