Recently, I read about a deeply moving project that
Trudi Sissions of Two Dresses Studio
is supporting and I had to join in...
maybe you will come along too.
Trudi is collecting handmade butterflies for The Butterfly Project.
Sponsored by the Holocaust Museum Houston,
the goal of the project is to collect
1.5 million butterflies as a remembrance of the
1.5 million innocent children who
perished as a result of the Holocaust.
In Spring 2013 these butterflies will comprise a
spectacular exhibition for all to remember.
This is my contribution that will fly off to Trudi this week.
If you'd like to read more or participate in this project
you can read more about it here.
Butterflies can be as simple as a cutout image...
Trudi even supplies some templates on her site
if you're pressed for time.
