World AIDS Day December 1

World AIDS Day is observed December 1 each year and is dedicated to raising the awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection.

HIV/AIDS has been a global epidemic for more than 27 years. Most of today's youth have never know a world without it. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently published national HIV
incidence (new infections) than showed much higher numbers than previous estimates. The time is now to prevent the spread of this pandemic- through awareness, care, prevention, education and   research.

PS. (see my other comment for why this is a PS).
I've just seen the magic Lisa S has been weaving with your book. My god but she's a rare find, that one - all these hidden talents!!!
PPS. Hats off to you for highlighting this cause; it's such a devastating disease and it's killing and has killed just too many innocents.

A terrible pandemic-- spread through ignorance and intolerance-- and a worthy cause to go try and prevent further spread of-- education is always best.
