This is wonderful... makes me think of a time-table, hanging in a station by the tracks to no-where (or now-here...)

I love all the textures in this. Makes me think of a down home winter curled up on the old rocker in front of the fire. Thanks for sharing it.

Hi Lisa! Wow I was going to write almost word for word what Jo wrote. So what is left to say?!?!? It's amazing and so are you. : )

If only this piece could tell a story - the conversations at the printer's office, family news below the covers, the waves lapping over the stones telling of their distance travelled, appointments kept, clothes worn.
A diary without words. Lovely.

this one seems a little different for you--- still very textured and layered but grid-like also

The patchworking is a nice effect...almost like a game of checkers - one step forward, two steps across...then you draw the eye to the top and the right to those two vintage cogs or clockwork gears that almost look like war medals. Lots of juicy detail and thought, Lisa. Stunning.

such a wealth of earthy textures and tones and those little beach stones at the bottom, all on that grid, SWOON is right.
