Yesterday I received a package in the mail from
the talented and most generous Alicia
wrapped to perfection wouldn't you say...
too pretty to open so I had to enjoy it for a day.
i just adore the Asian influence...
finally i peeked inside to find...
the most adorable little altered journal book...
such tiny perfect details!
and this from a girl who claims sewing is a challenge
look at those amazing embroidery stitches!
such perfection!
a truly beautiful little treasure!

and the wrapping ,ohhh ,I think I would have put some fabrick inside, and made the wrapping again,for a wonderfull display,somewhere. And ofcourse the book is a little delight to have on your table,for small thoughts.Alicia, makes gorgeus, art.

i swear i have major sewing issues. :) that little loopy bit on the upper right of the "secrets" -- TOTAL mistake. the thread got knotted so i just went with it and made another couple of loops to make appear intentional (one of many examples).
it was so fun to make this for you and i'm so very glad that you like it. a million thanks to you for being such a kind and generous friend.
