colorful venture

stepping out of my box
by offering colorful ribbons in my etsy shop

and some old favorites in fresh new muted shades...

I hope you've been having a wonderful summer...
as for me...
family time and kids have been occupying
the bulk of my time...
though I am looking forward to
returning to my artistic endeavors
as soon as our summer schedule
begins to take a breather...

layers of fabric, paper, lots of textures and details.
thanks to Alicia for the lovely photograph!

so what is this?
the bare bones of my next project...
an altered book collaboration
with a group of extraordinarily talented ladies.
there are five participating in this
project :
Alicia of Altered Bits
Debrina of Debrinas Diary
Lisa of Lucky Dip
and myself.
each of us will complete a page
and the cover of our books then
send them out on a four month voyage so
that all other participants
can contribute their artistic talent and
intrepretation of the chosen theme on their
designated page or pages.

the blog is Pulp Redux
my theme is "roots...beneath the layers"

some of the elements that might be appearing in my book...

i am so excited to be a part of this
exciting artistic journey...
please visit the blog so you can travel along with us!
